Southbury Needy Fund

The Needy Fund is in the middle of the Children’s Holiday Gift Program. Donations are always accepted as well as Gift Certificates to our local merchants. The Southbury Police Force is sponsoring a toy drive, and the merchants of the Southbury Plaza are helping by offering to match every toy donated, up to $1000.00.

The Southbury Needy Fund is an ongoing program which provides assistance to our residents throughout the year. Some examples of these requests are rental payments, Dr’s visits, school field trips, electric bills, etc.

Donations to the Southbury Needy Fund may be sent to P. O. Box 72, Southbury, CT 06488 or dropped off to Sandy in the Selectman’s Office in the Town Hall.

Emergency Fuel Bank

With the increased price of fuel oil this winter, the Southbury Emergency Fuel Bank is in need of donations. Please consider making donations to this very worthwhile fund. Donations may be addressed to: Southbury Fuel Bank, 501 Main Street South, Southbury, CT 06488
