Senior Minibus Information

(Subject to change)

General Information

 The Town of Southbury operates two senior minibuses to assist you in getting around town and to doctors’ appointments. The Mini-Bus is a service of the Town of Southbury – Services for the Elderly.   We are in operation Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eligible riders are Southbury residents age 60 and older, or disabled residents of Southbury. Our buses are wheelchair accessible. Riders who need the wheelchair accessible bus may make appointments for afternoons only and these will depend on the availability of the bus.

Transportation to and from the Senior Center and the Nutrition Site is provided daily; other services are described below.  To make a reservation, please call us at 262-0652.  Fees are $5.00 for a ticket of 20 round-trip rides.  Tickets may be purchased from your driver or at the Senior Center.  For more information on the minibus or other services from Services for the Elderly, please call 262-0651.  We do reserve the right to make changes to this schedule at any time.
